​Every week that I share God's Word with you, I keep asking myself how can that hour be maximized so that every person can grow in their knowledge of God. Neuroscientists tell us that our brains can only focus on one thing at a time. That's why sermons are so powerful to grow us a believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. Sermon focus on just one thing and when all distractions that cause our minds to wander, we are able to grow in that one specific area.

Jesus taught by telling stories that illustrated one powerful thought or theme. During the next two months, I'm going to be presenting a new sermon series based on the parables of Jesus.
